Our 2023 Sustainability Report demonstrates our continuing leadership and commitment to sustainability and a circular economy. It includes key initiatives and metrics that speak to our product, process and social responsibility pillars as it relates to our ESG priorities and aligns with the United Nations SDGs.
For example, we addressed our ESG priority of emissions by reducing our Scope 1 carbon emissions by 4.19% and Scope 2 by 4.66%. We were acknowledged as one of the best workplace cultures in the United States with a Great Place to Work® Certification™ scoring 14% points higher than the average U.S. company.
Our report also highlights our recent venture capital investments that support our business strategy and sustainability initiatives. For example, we invested in an Detrapel, an advanced materials company that manufactures sustainable coatings and provides solutions to drive the next generation of PFAS and plastic-free innovation.
